Modern Earrings 2020

Modern Earrings, a personal ornament worn pendent from the ear, usually suspended by means of a ring or hook passing through a pierced hole in the lobe of the ear or, in modern times, often by means of a screwed clip on the lobe. The impulse to decorate or to modify the appearance of the ear seems to be almost universal. In general, usage appears to call for wearing earrings in pairs, the two ornaments in all respects resembling each other; but a single earring has sometimes been worn. (The single earring was especially popular in Europe during the Renaissance and Baroque period.)
In the Orient, earrings historically were worn by both sexes; in the West (including ancient Israel and Egypt) as a general rule, they were considered to be exclusively female ornaments. Among the Greeks and Romans earrings were worn only by women, and the practice of men wearing them often is spoken of in classical literature as a distinctly Oriental (i.e., Middle Eastern) trait.
In the tombs of the Greek settlers on the Crimean Peninsula (4th century BC), earrings of marvelous complexity and beauty were found. Jewels of the same class, of exquisite beauty and workmanship, were found in the sepulchers of ancient Etruria. Earrings of comparatively simple forms, but set with pearls and other stones, were the mode in Rome.

In Europe, earrings tended to go out of fashion when the wig, coiffure, or headdress obscured the ears, as in the late 17th and 18th centuries. The use of these ornaments continued to be unfashionable in Europe and the Americas during the 19th century but were revived again in the 20th, especially with the introduction of clipping devices. Simplified painless methods of piercing the ears led to the renewed popularity of pierced earrings.

Snooki: Is She Worried About Her Future After Quitting Jersey Shore?

Jersey Shore watchers know that one of the most well-known personalities on the show, Snooki, is no longer part of the cast after she decided to quit. That being said, while Snooki revealed she was happy about her decision to leave, people are still wondering what her plans for the future are and whether she’s stressed about it or not.

And it makes sense! Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, left the show that made her famous and that is pretty scary since that means her career is currently up in the air. Or is it?

Now, one source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Snooki will be very busy being a mom and also seeing what comes next for her now that she is done with Jersey Shore.’ Snooki: Is She Worried About Her Future After Quitting Jersey Shore?

But that’s not to say she’s in any way scared!

The insider explained that ‘She made quite a lot of money from being on the show and she is not financially stressed. She has a store that does well, has her podcast which is successful, and she’ll be focusing on growing all her brands and businesses.’

At the same time, fans wonder whether or not she will miss her longtime co-stars and whether or not she feels sentimental leaving them and the show itself behind like that.

The source claims that while she still feels a lot of love for all of them, Snooki has zero regrets.

In fact, she is looking forward to a new year, a new beginning away from Jersey Shore and a new chapter in her life!

Snooki apparently wants to be taken seriously as a businesswoman so people should forget about her reality TV persona since that side of her is gone forever.

Aside from that, she is also planning on focusing on her kids more than ever from now on.

Inside's Mysterious Collector's Edition Has Been Officially Revealed, And The Contents Are Definitely Unique

If you haven’t played the indie mega-hit Inside, then what are you waiting for? You definitely should do it, as it is often considered to be one of the greatest video games of all-time. The game has been nominated for, and won, tons of awards since its release in 2016, and to this day continues to garner discussion.
Early last year, the developers at Playdead teamed up with video game art and merchandise company iam8bit to develop a special collector’s edition of the game. The collector’s edition was set be available in very limited quantities; so limited, in fact, that they would only be making enough to cover the number of preorders that they received for it. Even more interesting, however, is that despite being priced at a whopping $375, neither company was revealing what goodies were actually going to be included. Until now, that is. Inside's Mysterious Collector's Edition Has Been Officially Revealed, And The Contents Are Definitely Unique.
The collector’s editions have officially started shipping to customers around the world, and the folks at iam8bit have released a new behind-the-scenes video revealing the contents of the mysterious package, and it’s definitely a unique product, to be sure. Fair warning here; if you ordered the packaged and want to be surprised, don’t keep reading. Also, if you have not actually played the game yet, there are some pretty big spoilers ahead. Okay, you’ve been warned.]
As you can probably imagine, the collector’s edition of Inside comes in exclusive premium packaging and features a physical copy of the game for PlayStation 4. Along with the game, customers will also be receiving a huge set of postcards featuring artwork of the characters and locations from the game, as well as an exclusive Inside poster and a small figurine of the boy from the game.
The most interesting part of the box, however, is the inclusion of a big collectible statue of the giant blob of human flesh that you eventually control toward the end of the game. It’s not just your everyday collectible statue, either. In order to get the flesh-like quality of the figure perfect, Playdead and iam8bit parterned with the RealDoll company in order to use their exclusive formula for creating ultra-realistic life-like flesh. If you have never heard of RealDoll–let’s be honest, you totally have–they are a company that is well-known for creating super-realistic customizable adult dolls.
While the collector’s edition is currently sold out, iam8bit has announced that they may be producing more in the future, and have opened sign-ups for those who are interested. People who put their name on the list will be notified by February of 2020 about purchasing future collector’s editions. In the meantime, you can pick up Inside on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and so on.

Kovaak’s Aim Trainer Updated On Steam, Is Now Titled ‘Kovaak 2.0: The Meta’

The importance of being able to click precisely where you need to cannot be understated in PC gaming.  Whether you’re micromanaging your units in an RTS, or desperately looking to clutch that 1V3 post-plant scenario in Counter-Strike, both accuracy and precision are vital.  For those working on improving that, and thus elevate their game, Kovaak’s FPS Aim Trainer is a paramount tool for honing your aiming reflex.
Crafted by a Professional Quake veteran by the name of Kovaak, it allowed users to replicate any experiences they needed to, from hit-scan to projectile armaments, engaging bots and targets with completely customizable behavior.  It was simply the greatest tool for PC aim honing available, and Kovaak’s storied reputation served him well in pushing the game.
Who would refuse a cheap tool with limitless customization from one of the original aim-gods? 'Kovaak's Aim Trainer' Updated On Steam, Is Now Titled 'Kovaak 2.0: The Meta'.
Hopefully, you’ve picked it up before today and were able to use it; a new patch and team have taken over the popular tool, and it all went down the drain impressively quick.
First, a new team has picked up development for the title, called The Meta.  They have published no prior games on Steam, and it appears that Kovaak himself is still in the development team based on his Twitter.  There have been no prior announcements regarding the title being sold to a new development team.
Now, the patch itself is beyond a nightmare.  Kovaak’s FPS Aim Trainer was a fantastic warm-up while you search for a match, offering fast boot-up times, low usage overhead, and it immediately got you into the action.  Action being whatever you personally set up for weaponry, targets, distance, so on and so forth.  That’s all been kicked to the curb.
Now, when you boot the game, it won’t let you progress until you create a login ID, giving developer The Meta access to your email and birthday.  You also need to input your Epic Games ID, which is a tremendously bold request considering social media is still filled with people that refuse to install the Epic Games Launcher due to their recent actions.
Finally, you can identify which of the two games you wish to train for: Fortnite, or Overwatch.  Rough waters for those that are trying to train up for the internationally acclaimed title Counter-Strike, or BattlefieldRainbow 6 SiegeCall of DutyPaladinsWRATH: Aeon of RuinHaloDestiny 2, or Rust.  Amusingly, even Quake isn’t an option.  FortniteOverwatch, or find a different trainer.
A far cry from what Kovaak’s Aim Trainer began as, and became popular for.  The fact that they’ve gone from the premier aim-training tool on PC to a data-collection and selling scheme is…outlandish at best.
Those who have opted to offer the game their email and birthday to receive access to the title have found themselves regretting it tremendously, finding the game has gone from an aim-trainer to some bizarre game that more accurately reflects mobile games than a serious and dedicated aim-trainer.

Lionel Richie is reportedly starting to accept his daughter Sofia Richie dating Scott Disick. The couple has been together for over two years. However, the singer is just now warming up to the romance. Lionel Richie Is Reportedly Starting To Accept Daughter Sofia Richie Dating Scott Disick.
An insider shared with E! News, Lionel, Sofia, and Scott spent the Thanksgiving holiday weekend together in Miami. The Grammy winner is reportedly trying harder to accept the relationship, even though he is still hesitant because of their 15-year age difference.
Lionel is making more of an effort with Scott for Sofia’s sake, especially since the relationship is not the faze Lionel initially hopes it would be.
Scott and Sofia are still together, and all is well for now. They spent Thanksgiving with Lionel Richie, and they all flew together on his private jet for their holiday trip. Lionel has accepted their relationship but still isn’t entirely 100 percent on board with Scott, mostly because of the age difference and how young Sofia is. Lionel can see how happy Sofia is, though, so he is making more of an effort with Scott,” the source shared with the entertainment news outlet.
One of the ways he is building a bridge with Scott and Sofia is by being open and honest. Lionel is still leery because she is so young to be so serious about a man. His relationship with Sofia means the world to him and Lionel wants to do whatever he can to support her.
“He is a really honest, upfront kind of guy and feels like his father-daughter relationship with Sofia is more important than anything, so he’s trying to be there for Sofia and to be supportive of her despite his reservations about her relationship. They all had a really great holiday together, though, and progress is for sure being made between Lionel and Scott,” the source added.
It wasn’t that long-ago reports swirled that Lionel and Nicole Richie had both cut ties with Sofia because of her romance with Scott. There is no question the Flip It Like Disick star has changed a lot since his relationship with Sofia first started. He has even begun to open up about the romance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Lionel Richie is trying to accept his daughter Sofia Richie’s romance with Scott Disick. The legendary singer is not entirely on board yet, but he is making progress with the couple. Who would have ever thought Scott and Sofia would have lasted this long? Certainly not her famous father!
